Hello. I’ve noticed that after I import a product from my Square account, it will only sync with whatever variations existed at that time. If I add a variation to an existing product in Square and do an import or sync, it will not pull the new variation.

Is there any way around this, other than deleting the product from WooCommerce, emptying the trash, and doing an import?

  • Hi there @kegobeer,

This issue has been reported to our developers and they’re working on a fix.

The only workaround so far would be to create the missing variations manually in WooCoommerce and mark them to sync with Square.

We apologize for any inconvenience that the bug brought into your workflows.

Please keep an eye on the plugin’s updates and changelog to check if the fix is included to the next release: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-square/#developers

Enjoy the rest of your day and stay safe!

    Hi,

We have the same problem. Until a few days ago it was working fine, now my clients are very angry at us. They received a lot of stock and are not up to date because of this.

When do you expect to publish the new version with the fix? is there any function we could add to the functions.php as a patch while the new version is published?

This topic IS NOT RESOLVED. With the 2.1.6 version now is EVEN WORSE:

    1. Now when you sync from Square to Woocommerce, variable products import wrong. It imports the variations, but it doesn’t save the parent product as a variation.

    2. I solved problem 1 by moving the code that makes a product a variation to another function.

    3. Manually or programmed syncs won’t add new variations to a product that already exists.
