Item Name suddenly contains variation details

  • Hey! I always export using the same settings from my shop, my products i create using the same excel template. However, since 1 Month or something my orders contain more than the item name in the item name field:
    For example i have a variation for a customized order that says yes or no

    before it was: Product XY
    now it is: Product XY Yes or Product XY No
    How can i change it back to how it was? Even replacing it with the product name field has this result

    The Product Name (main) seems to do the job, was this moved/introduced? Whats the difference between product name, item name and product name (main)

    Have you modified variations for this product?

    If you create variation and don’t use “ANY” — item name will contain selected attributes. Product name(main) — is name of product without any attributes in your case.

    Item name <> product name , so you can delete product , but order will still show items.

    is <> equals? Yeah i modified variations, so product name main is fine, unless i delete my product and want to export an old order with it in it.

    and another question: for attributes of variations like size do you use the name or the title/slug for identification?

    <> is not equals ??
    You can rename product , but you will still see old name inside the the order.

    Export should show Name.
    Use >Setup Fields>Product Order Items>Add Field to add new column.
