I had a blog with podcasts (self hosted) which had been functioning fine via FeedBurner RSS to iTunes. I recently migrated it and setup a new feed at the new URL. When I tried to update the iTunes feed it kept failing and Podcast Support @ Apple said that there were 10 item tags but only 3 enclosure tags, hence the error. I figured this was a FeedBurner issue and removed feed, adding PowerPress plugin to generate new feed. When I tried to update feed at podcastconnect.apple to new feed support said same issue: 10 item tags but only 3 enclosure tags.

So, I’m guessing that the 10 item tags are referencing other posts then the podcast posts, of which I have only 3.

Are you able to shed any light on this? Thnx!

What is the actual feed URL you’re trying to use with Apple?

It is resolved now. Seems I can’t have both RS Feeder (for general blog posts) and PowerPress (for PodCasts) active as RS Feeder takes it over and converts it.

THnx, yes, it’s working fine now. Just wondering if you know a way to do have both RS Feeder (for general blog posts) and PowerPress (for PodCasts) active as currently, RS Feeder takes over PowerPress.

I have no experience with RS Feeder, so can’t say there. if RS Feeder needs control of all feeds on your site, you probably won’t be able to use with with PowerPress. Contact RS Feeder support and see if they have any suggestions.

Hello @jpite,

I believe the only objective of the plugin rs-feedburner is to redirect your feed on your website to the feedBurner URL. If you are only using this for podcasting, you do not need this plugin. Instead use the setting in PowerPress for the podcast feed in question, our version of FeedBurner is referred to as PodcastMirror, but you can put your FeedBurner feed URL in there instead.

The 10 item limit is a WordPress setting BTW, go into WordPress settings > Writing, make sure the items per feed is changed from 10 to something larger. 50 is a safe number to use here.

Also check which feed your FeedBurner feed pulls from, I suspect it is the main feed https://www.knowledgeleaderscapital.com/feed/, in which case at this moment it has 9 blog posts and 1 episode. Using the podcast only feed for your podcast maximizes the amount of episodes you can syndicate.
