Items cannot be appended to the menus.

I am a Realtor and my website uses and IDX plugin, Rover IDX, to allow visitors to search for properties and much more. The plugin automatically appends a menu item to the menu of my choice to give logged in users access to many extra features. I use the Astra theme and the plugin is able to append the menu item to any menu I select when your plugin is disabled. However, it cannot append the item when your plugin is a active, unless the menu is displayed in the footer. Is there a way to remove this block and allow the menu item to be appended to any menu I choose?
