items on category pages show twice

You are using older version( 2.9.4.4 ) of MarketPress pro plugin. Please try using our latest version( 2.9.4.8 ) of MarketPress plugin as it contains some fixes / improvements.

I would be happy to use the latest version except that I am not willing to pay a large monthly amount ($99/month)for a plugin where the company does not provide timely support on its own forum, so I am stuck with the version I now have which was working originally when I purchased my membership but has stopped working properly with subsequent updates – the reason i posted my question here is that I actually received proper/timely support when i had your free version of the plugin installed so I was hoping that the same person who’d been helping me then would do so again…

Apparently once a category is input, it cannot be changed for title, slug or anything else. I have tried deleting the categories and reinputting them in the way I want them, but that does not work either since the plugin is keeping track of indexes and not resetting the slugs or category indexes upon delete.

When I try free plugins such as this one or the woocommerce one and there are more problems than good stuff I surely won’t pay money for any pro version.

You need to think about how this makes wpmudev look when you put out a substandard free product and then come and ask for the big bucks for the pro version.

May software developers allow a free trial period with full access to the pro version which becomes totally disabled at the end of the trial period. Apparently this has not occurred to the wordpress plugin developers yet. Put a login to verify a temporary license key and then disable the key at the end of the trial period of the pro version.

This practice is not allowed in any plugins hosted on www.ads-software.com. We do not host trialware here.

I have tested it on my test site editing MarketPress product categories title, slug etc. using latest free version of MarketPress plugin and it edited successfully.

How are you changing the MarketPress product categories?

What do you mean by “it cannot be changed”?

Are you getting any error message when you try to change it or it just revers to old one?

I think this is because WordPress plugins are open source and you can easily change the code in it which restrict access of using it after the trial period expires.
