Items will not add to cart

    When you add a product to the cart, it says “item added to cart”. If you go to the cart, it says cart empty.

    I have tried:

    A default WP theme
    Disabling all plugins except woo-commerce

    Not sure what else to try

    I didnt think it was fixed. Could be the issue is only from my computer? I never considered that.

    I will check from another computer.

    Works from other computers. Not sure what i did, maybe there was a never an issue at all.

    This isnt fixed. I just had a customer tell me they couldn’t add anything to the cart.

    Can I mark this unresolved, or have to make a new post?

    Not many folk bother marking threads resolved or unresolved. You can start a new thread if you want.

    Your checkout page works for me.

    I should update pharmacy as the next step – I can’t say that will fix this issue but it would be good practice.

    I think maybe this has something to do with part of your site being none-https and the checkout page is https. The two domains are therefore different, so a cart cookie generated on the none-https pages may not be being read in https pages. I know that doesn’t pan out with the evidence but its what I’ve read elsewhere. Why not make the whole site https? There should not be a significant performance disadvantage.

    Or, as a test, take https off the checkout page so the whole site is http. That would test the theory about the mixed protocols being responsible for losing cart data.

    I figure out how to mark it unresolved.

    I thought the whole site was https, but i had to fix a line in the htaccess file. Now adding things to cart looks to be working.

    Looks to still be an issue with modifying the quantity in the cart. I will do more testing.
