    All the links to pages and posts are showing 404 error suddenly, when i asked for support from the hosting provider, the said the itheme security plugin is changing the .htaccess codes automatically, which is causing such error. Then they modified the code, and the problem was solved. But 2 days later, the same thing occuring again and again. This is 3rd time. Can you help me somehow to permanently solve this??

    Hi @civilenggnotes, thanks for reaching out! iThemes Security writing to the .htaccess and wp-config.php files is required for some features to work. Do you have a copy of the .htaccess file when the issue happens, or can you ask your hosting provider for a copy? If so, please paste the iTSec rules here so I can check. I’d also recommend checking the number of banned IPs in the file to see if it’s more than 100. I look forward to hearing from you!

    I will ask my provider if i can get a copy of that situation. But i don’t think i can get one. But i beleive it will happen again. If so, i will make one copy of the htaccess file, and share with you the iTSec code here.
