iThemes Security email template?

    I used a plugin for importing users en masse. It has a Send Mail option to dispatch the default ‘new user’ notification I had setup.

    For some reason, iThemes Security stepped in and sent its own email template, that I cannot find in any options to disable or configure.

    The email contained the following:

    “Welcome,
    Your data to login in this site is:
    * URL to login <url
    * Username= <username>
    * Password = <password>”

    Please point me to where I can potentially change, or completely disable, this email form from ever sending to my users, as my default notification would never contain a password transmitted via email.

    It’s also possible this is not from iThemes. I am also following up with the developers of the other plugin, to understand where this verbiage even comes from. The URL contains an ithemes link so if you can confirm there’s no default email body/template with the above, I’d consider this not an iThemes issue.

    Confirmed this isn’t related to iThemes. Sorry bout that.
