    Hi,

I am using iThemes Security on 5 sites without any problems. The function I would like to ask about is the “Hide Backend” module only.

Hide Backend is simple to set and it works flawlessly on these sites.

I have just enabled it also on a bigger site which needs to use a cache plugin because of its huge database and tons of images. This cache plugin is “W3 Total Cache” free (newest) version.

Alas, iThemes Security’s Hide Backend does not work along with W3 Total Cache.
    – I create the pseudo link and the redirect link (slugs)
    – When I call the original wp-admin or wp-login.php URL-s they are not reachable, that is OK. ??
    – When I call my new hidden (pseudo) link for login it does not work either. It pushes me back to the homepage. ??

Is there any option in W3 Total Cache settings or any other advice I could change to use Hide Backend on this site too?

    Thank you in advance!

Thank you for the kind support! 3 weeks, no answer at all, great forum.

For everybody who has got the same problem I described above:

There is another plugin that is very simple and works perfectly together with W3 Total Cache: WPS Hide Login.

It was 15 seconds to install, configure and test altogether. If you’ll find iThemes Security’s Hide Backend unusable with Total Cache too, go and get WPS HIDE LOGIN.

    Game over, topic closed.
