    Salutations.

It would be extremely helpful to me if I could export/save my ithemes security settings, so that when I install my next Ithemes I do not have to go and set everything up again.

This is extremely time consuming and tedious, having to go through every single thing again. It may seem trivial but multiply this process by 120 WP sites and it becomes pain staking torture.

Maybe this process is somehow already possible, I am just not aware of it.

Could I just copy a file from “better-wp-security” folder at the backend and paste in all my other sites after I install the ithemes security plugin? PLease advise.

  • Hey Amado,

The ability to export/import settings is a feature that’s available in the Pro version. You can see what we’re up to by checking out the public roadmap.

Thanks Gerroald, I see it in the planned section, number 4.
Is this already implemented and in place?
If I go pro today will I be able to do Settings migrations?

Also if I already have ithemes installed on the sites how does the migration from free to pro affect my current itheme installs?
    Please advise.

I will move on this today if you provide me the details.
Going SSL on all my site, and want to move on this.
    Thanks for all your help.

Ok Gerroald I see the “setting Import and export” as completed with confirmation from Wiegman. If you can answer my questions on,

if I already have ithemes installed on the sites how does the migration from free to pro affect my current itheme installs?
    Please advise.

I will go ahead and buy the unlimted pro license today.

    Hey Amado,

You’re correct, it’s already a feature. I’ll make sure and get the board updated.

As for the upgrade transition, there not a lot to it. If you install and activate the Pro version it will deactivate the free version and preserve your settings.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Thanks Gerroald.
    Already made the Pro Purchase.
I found the settings feature in “advanced”
Also tested Pro install on a test site with the free one installed.
    Everything went smoothly.

    Thanks for all your help.
