It's a scam

  • Don’t waste your time downloading and implementing this, you’ll be getting fool’s gold. It doesn’t offer 90% of what it displays in the demos, unless you’re willing to pay. It adds a “Go Full version” on basically everything you’ll try. Better stick with other sliders.
    Even developers who creates free sliders with at least 60% of its features know that good quality free products leads to pro sales.

    If you’re not willing to pay for Smart Slider, WordPress plugin’s directory has plenty of better free sliders. Now I know why it’s called Smart slider, smart enough on spamvert. Good job on the transparency, I almost couldn’t see it coming.

    What are you missing specifically from the free version?
    Yes the demo can be misleading but new we’re working on a new version with a new demo, so any constructive criticism can help us to create a better free plugin. Please feel free to share you concrete problems.

    From 1 to 3 stars reviews, I’m missing the same stuff the other 14 users complaining are missing. It’s transparency, instead of a high contrast image on a lot of places saying “Go Full version”. Just say it already that the free version is too basic. I already got another free plugin that is serving me well, and I’ll be happy to pay the guy for the PRO version, but hell yeah, yours, THE pro version, is indeed 504% better than his, I definitely admit it, but I rather rely on honesty than on shady advertising. There is your concrete criticism. I sincerely wish for you the best of success and hope the next version have something else to offer, cause it’s you who’s losing customers, not me. ??
