It's Everything I Want, and Without the Cruft

This small plugin does everything that I want, which is to backup my database and send it to the email address of my choice. A different popular plugin sells an add-on for the ability to choose an email address, other than the site admin, to send the backup.

This plugin does not contain features that I do not need, such as constant upselling of premium add-ons, options to backup files, and sending backups to cloud services.

I believe this is the first backup plugin I ever used with WordPress. I was using it until it seemed like it was not being updated anymore, and then I switched to other options. I’m glad this plugin has been updated recently! Thanks Austin!
