• Everything works well and we have a lot of options to customize essential functions.

    But the bad things are:

    ————————————————-
    1) To edit translations you will suffer hell: If I want to translate this plugin you’ll need to translate using Say What, Loco Translate (or Poedit) and own UsersWp plugin to make all texts, notifications, emails and strings right. Email strings in Loco Translator will not hook right. If you know PHP, well, the work will like the same.
    ————————————————-
    2) Edit Account Tabs is for developers. If you want to simple add or remove a new tab you will need to edit PHP files.
    ————————————————-
    3) Emails are somewhat customizable, only basic colors and one image for the header.
    ————————————————-
    4) All options are not intuitive. Edit form fields are a hit and miss trial. If developers use WPForms as an example will be much more easier to understang how fields works.
    ————————————————-
    5) It’s lack a option to Admin approval registrations. A very basic need with the proposal of this plugin.

Too much trouble, could be much more easier. Just saying…

Hi, thanks for using our plugin, however, your review appears to be based on a few wrong assumptions.

1 Everything can be translated using poedit without plugins. I tested the strings you mention with Loco (which we don’t endorse) and it worked with it too. I’m not sure what you are doing wrong, but the problem doesn’t appear to be our plugin. Please see: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/username-or-email-cannot-translate/#post-14868168

2 We state nowhere that there is a UI to edit account tabs. Would you give a 3 stars review to WooCommerce because you need to edit PHP files to modify templates?

3 Emails are quite customizable. You can change the color of everything, add a header image, a footer text and the body can be fully HTML which means you can basically design the content as you wish.

4 Thanks for the feedback, but I’m not sure I understand what you mean. Could you make an example?

5 The option is available, but not in the free version, it’s a premium add-on.

    Thanks anyway…

    Hi @paoltaia, thanks for response.

    1) I already pointing out the problem in translation in my topic on support, not only me but others (including in your own forums) have difficulties to translate some strings.
Yesterday I pointed a possible cause, please investigate.

    2) Even if your plugin don’t have this feature, since your plugin create that tabs is reasonable to expect that you can edit the contents.

    3) It’s only a very basic editing. If you want to change fonts, blocks, including anything you need to develop. A simple possibility to include your own HTML/CSS will make this even better (other plugins go far away and even include some templates to choose, like Kadence, per example). So actuyally it’s basic feature but could be better.

    4) Just install WPforms Lite and see yourself how intuitive are the form editor, the functions, the UX and what you expect when you edit the functions. Your editor are functional but not friendly.

    5) I resolved installing a very basic and FREE plugin: New User Approve. No single configuration was necessary. It’s very easy to implement but I understand that you guys want to gain some money, but for this resource I think it’s not a good call.
