    Hi!

    I can’t tell if this is you or Mailchimp, but as it’s not sending anything through to MC, I think it’s you.

    I’m trying to test my opt in sequence and check my triggers are working correctly, its requiring me to use a lot of test emails ([email protected]) etc.

    I can barely do more than 3 before it’s blocked me with this message upon attempting to sign up to my list:

    [email address] has signed up to a lot of lists very recently; we’re not allowing more signups for now

    I like this obviously in terms of preventing spam, but its making testing my sequence a nightmare!

    Is this you? As my site isn’t live right now is there a way to stop that whilst I test everything?!

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    @charliemariephoto,

    That message is coming directly from Mailchimp. If you’re using the same email address over and over they’re blocking it.

    When testing you could just use [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] so that you’re not reusing the same email address.

    Let me know if this helps!

    Hi

    Sorry this probably sounds like a silly question, but what email do you mean when you say [email protected]?

    Thanks

    I’m sorry I misunderstood what you were testing. I thought you were trying to just test if you could sign up to the form. You want to be able to actually receive the emails and test those out?

    That would be a question for the Mailchimp Support, here’s an article about why they limit test sends for their campaigns so I’m guessing the reasons are tied closely together.

    However, I would reach out to them and see if they could whitelist your email so you could sign up as many times as you wanted.

    Hi no worries, I’ve reached out to them to do just that!

    Thanks!
