• The plugin seems to work well when I installed it and started testing it out. However I quickly found out that some features that BudyPress already offers for free or features you can ad with free plugins will cost you to have with this plugin. For example you have to pay if you want users to be able to send private messages. This feature is already built into BudyPress for free and the ability to have verified users will also cost you when there are plugins that will do it for free. The only advantage I see with this plugin is the profiles look better than the default buddypress profiles. Sorry, but I wont be using this plugin.

If you’re not using it, why are you giving 2 stars because it does not offer private messages for free? I think you’re so unfair. UM popularity won’t be affected by such reviews as people already know that the free / core version of Ultimate Member beats buddypress in many aspects, so thanks for your “constructive” feedback. It really does matter to know that you decide to not use this plugin and therefore it’s worth 2 stars for you (That makes sense) Good luck in finding an alternative plugin that is better than BuddyPress and free, and also looks pixel-perfect.

    Happy 2016!

Wow. Some ones a little bitter because I don’t want to use your plugin. Way to be “professional”. You can’t please everyone. I didn’t like the plugin but I’m sure for some this offers what they need. How about you focus on them instead of getting bent out of shape because I did not like what it had to offer as a whole. And yes, 2 stars because I liked how it looked but would not use it because you charge to add basic features that I can get for free because they are not premium features you should pay for. The ability to add private messaging and add a little check mark to a user profile is basic and the fact that you charge for that makes me question if you charge for that out of greed. Perhaps if you actually created premium features that are worth paying for instead of getting bent out of shape over a poor review you might not have gotten a bad review in the first place. Good Luck.

Good luck to you as well.

    Thank you.

“Anonymous” should have reviewed the actual paid add-ons instead of Ultimate Member considering they are separate plugins.

Ive read your comment in full.
    My conclusion?
Unfair.. they are obviously hurt by your comment, that’s not a matter of being professional, that’s just human and honest. What isnt professional is your response. They charge because they are a business.. if you want free, good luck to you. I hope it works out. I suspect your site doesn’t draw enough revenue then to warrant the cost. that’s your issue not UM. If you dont like it, thats fine but to mark it down suggests a lack of functionality regarding what they promised. Thats unfair.

This plug-in is to me the best plug-in on wordpress. Its shameful the way YOU have voted.
