It’s taking forever

    I just installed Security Ninja and have started the scans. But even after one hour or so, the scans are not completed. Is this normal? How long should I wait for scans to be 100% completed?

    Hello @rosechapman

    Those scans should not take more than a minute or so even on a slow host. Are you able to check your browser for any JavaScript errors that prevent the tests from finishing?

    If there are no errors there, are you able to see any errors using WP_DEBUG – if there are any error notification from another plugin or your theme it could be the reason the scan is taking forever.

    Is there a particular test that seems to be stopping the progress? You can click to deselect that test. This could pinpoint the cause of the problem.
