  • Whoa, that’s pretty cool! At first, I was going to say that it looked a little strange, then the images loaded up.

    I’m on a cable modem and it’s really notice-able that the images load after the content. They appear to be pretty small so I’m not sure why they take a while to draw.

    That has to be one of the finer sites I’ve ever seen. I’ve gotten bored with mine and I’ve been looking for something new to inspire me. I think I’ve found it. May I peek at your CSS?

    Thanks for the feedback guys. I wanted to try and use WP1.5 to run the entire site via WP, but it was doing too much wierd stuff on the server.

    I decided to use WP 1.2.2 instead, so only the blog and the links page run off WP.

    Really nice site design; simple in layout but the imagery on it really just pushes it over the top! Very nice!

    Looks very good! Clean and well laid out.
    …animated gifs are cool ??

    I’m using I.E, so take this for what it’s worth…when I scroll down there is at least 8 inches between your footer and the rest of your design.

    Edit to say that I checked it again and it seems fine. Just really slow loading, I suppose.

    Missychele, yeah the server gets really slow sometimes. Stew said he’d talk to the host. Not sure whats up with that.

    Wow =) Thanks for taking a look and for all the great feedback. I appreciate it and I’m sure John is happy too.

    I saw a couple posts about the speed and how it was not consistent. I ended up talking to my host recently and let them know I was unhappy. Of course I got the standard “nothing seems wrong and we will look into it”. So all I can do now is follow up on the open ticket and address the issue until it gets resolved.
