When I’m typing up the description I have noticed two issues. One is that I noticed when it tries to use something that is in different blocks the <!–wp paragraph–> tags are getting changed to <br> I think the <p> is doing it as well. So I tried using the excerpt box which I noticed if it is filled in is used instead. So when I do that I can format it better and my description does not get cut off. the <description> tag looks fine with the full excerpt and all html tags. When I look at the <itunes:summary> it is completely removing any link tags that I have in there. As far as I know you can have links in your episode descriptions on itunes but I can’t seem to get mine to work.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Sorry for the delay!

First, In the Reading menu of WordPress Settings (Just plain settings in the sidebar) Select full text where it says “For each post in a feed, include” select “Full Text” Save changes.

Second. If you are using Classic Editor, in the post editor, click “Screen Options” and check the box for Summary. If you are using the Block editor, click the little 3 dot icon in the upper right, select Settings, and make sure the Summary box is checked.

Then, when you do a post, Type out your formatted show notes in the big text box, the main content area of the post. Put a summary (a few lines describing the episode) in the summary box.
