Had a working podcast for months using Seriously Simple Podcasting (I’m now using version 1.15.1)
iTunes will no longer validate the podcast feed https://clinlabsales.com/feed/podcast
    The 2 error messages are:
Can’t download episodes from your feed.
Can’t parse your feed. Invalid XML: Error on line 121: The element type “meta” must be terminated by the matching end-tag “</meta>”.

I had this problem using WordPress 4.7 and reverted to 4.6.1 but when I went back to podcastsconnect.apple.com and hit “save” I got the same errors.

I tried disabling and re-enabling the plugin. I tried changing permalink to “Plain” and back to “Post name”. I tried creating an empty post and publishing it. These were suggestions in other support conversations here, but none of these is working.

How do I get this podcast to work again in iTunes?

Note that the feed validates at https://validator.w3.org but with 2 recommendations.

I’m seeing one of the errors from FeedValidator.org is that the iTunes summary contains HTML. This might be the reason why the feed itself validates but iTunes won’t accept it. Looks like there is a <p> tag in there that you might be able to remove to get this to go through.

Let me know how it goes.

I am having the same error from Itunes. When i click “podcast-Settings-Feed Details-View Feed” try to view my feed at https://www.legacyweapon.com/feed/podcast I get “this is not a valid feed”

Please help! I am not especially tech savvy, so do not even know where to begin here.
