I've been customizing and I'm SO CLOSE, a little help?

I’ve been trying to tweak this code to create a new expire type: “Weekly.” It’s the perfect solution for my client & I haven’t been able to find a plugin anywhere that can do it. When the expiration date/time hits, it automatically re-schedules the post for one week from the old post-date, and automatically changes the expiration date to one week from the old exp date. Everything is working– except rescheduling the expiration. Can anyone figure out what I’m doing wrong? I feel like maybe the debug is throwing it off or something. I’ve tried a lot of different lines of code for that one section, (tried going directly to the functions, to no avail) this is just my most recent attempt.

If you can shed any light on it I’d be super grateful!
