I’ve lost all settings & plugins…

  • I’m not sure what I’ve done, but I spent a great deal of time editing my site . Now all the changes, excluding the index and style sheet have reset and the plugins I’ve recently added are no longer on the plugins page. They appear on my ftp, but even if I delete them and reinstall, they still don’t show up.

    The last plugin I added was the Subscribe To Comments plugin from https://www.scriptygoddess.com

    I’m not sure if I’ve explained this well or if anyone can help me. However, I would like to know if this is common or what I’ve done to cause this, so it doesn’t happen again :/

    I’ve restored all the files now as I backed up everything. I basically lost all the changes I made to the comments page, all the plugins I added tonight and the upload option after I enabled it earlier tonight.

    I think it could have something to do with my web host as they’ve moved my account to a new server and if I upload the plugins to my web based ftp, they all work. So I’m guessing it has something to do with AceFTP or my web host.
