I’ve updated the style of a wpform block but it doesn’t seem to work.

  • I added a simple contact form using the WPforms plugin, and I set it up so the fields would have a gray border and the labels would be the default text color on the site.

    The button is also supposed to be the default accent color for the site, which is blue.

    Instead, the fields don’t have a border and the labels are all white, so you can’t see them against the white background of the page.

    I removed the form and re-added it, but the problem persists.

    Also, I’ve tried to change the color you see when you hover over the top menu by adding the custom CSS code to the theme settings, but that hasn’t seemed to work either, as it’s still showing the default yellow of the Neve theme instead of my blue.

    Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

    I made a new page and embedded the same form with the same settings I want, and it looks like it’s supposed to. It just doesn’t work right on the page I need it on.

    I think I see the information you have given. But they are overlaid by others. You seem to have an optimisation plugin in use with Siteground. Deactivate it to see if the styles are loaded correctly. If so, then it is the Siteground plugin.

    Thanks so much for the quick response!

    SiteGround is our hosting platform and I hadn’t even noticed that they had installed the plugins when we added WordPress to the site.

    I deactivated all three: SiteGround Central, SiteGround Optimizer, and SiteGround Security, and the problem seems to be persisting.

    I just deactivated Otter Blocks temporarily to see if that was the issue and that fixed the problems with the form style but completely broke the page. So it must be the Otter Blocks plugin causing the issue.
