• Hi there,

    I ran a google mobile friendly test and saw there where some java issues (
    Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at https://fca.zerostress.tech/wp-content/theme and many similar) i did a little research, found out it might be a plugin issue so i used the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin. I didnt notice anything right away but quickly realized that was a patch for the previous version of WP. i disabled and uninstalled the plugin. I have removed and reinstalled my child/parent themes twice now and while all the java works inside the editing environment, it is all absent on the actual site. My fear is I must do a complete new fresh wordpress install after working all day on this site. Here is video of a screen capture of everything working inside the WP editor: https://zerostress.tech/fca_java.mp4 can someone, ANYONE come to my rescue??? Thanks as always WordPress community!

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict.

    Please try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    What did you do at the site before this issue? For example, updates, changes, etc.
    ?

    I was trying to resolve the mobile issues, I installed then deactivated and uninstalled Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin after realizing that A) it didn’t help and B) it was a fix for the previous version of WP. It’s hard to say exactly, as I’m not sure when it stopped working due to the fact that it works inside the editor. I made a few minor changes to the homepage… I edited some css…. It’s so bizarre… I will keep looking and see what else I may have changed. Thanks for all your help =)

    Your sites open fine for me. Very fast I might add! No errors!

    What exactly is the error?

    did you watch the video i put up — no java is loading for me! https://zerostress.tech/fca_java.mp4

    Thank you for letting me know it’s speedy and error free though! Unless you ARE seeing the java…. and then…

    The mobile issues I discovered were about 10 similar to this:
    Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at https://fca.zerostress.tech/wp-content/themes/food-restaurant-pro/js/

    a:

    Uncaught jquery-numerator requires jQuery to be loaded first

    and finally;
    Failed to set referrer policy: The value ” is not one of ‘no-referrer’, ‘no-referrer-when-downgrade’, ‘origin’, ‘origin-when-cross-origin’, ‘same-origin’, ‘strict-origin’, ‘strict-origin-when-cross-origin’, or ‘unsafe-url’. The referrer policy has been left unchanged.

    Hope that helps in some way… I’m lost. it’s not broken inside of wordpress only when i go to look at the published page…..
