    Hey!

I spoke too soon. One of the sites I’m working on is having some issues in Safari. Mobile menu on my iPhone isn’t showing up correctly, reveal modal’s aren’t working + column padding is all wonky. Can you take a look? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey there,

What do you mean by java script error? Can you post what that error is?

Also, I looked at your site and it seems to be working fine on my Note 5, I don’t use iphone (and never will lol).

And do you have an example of the reveal not working properly. Could be a conflict of some kind.

Just a hint you may need to adjust the css for column padding. I don’t know what version you were using previously before it was updated.

If you have modified the theme in any way I don’t assist with mods, all I deal with is if the theme is not working right out of the box.

    Let me know ??

I could be mistaken…in Safari, I’m seeing the following:

    1. Reveal modals on https://nctphoenix.com/cast/ are not revealing.
    2. Pancake menu appears slightly out of place and, when clicked, does not reveal menu.
    3. Padding appears to be gone.
    4. Buttons are not displaying properly.

I’m seeing this in both the WP-Starter theme that has my adjustments as well as in the fresh install of the WP-Forge theme straight out of the box.

    SCREENSHOTS

It appears to be happening in Safari (both descktop + mobile) and in Chrome on mobile. I also included a screenshots of an error that I’m seeing in the Safari debugger.

    Thanks for the assist!

    Hi again,

Sorry but I do not use safari, but I can tell you, I looked at the jquery error screen shot and it’s saying the the error is referring to data-op, shouldn’t it be data-top, maybe in one of the reveal masks you built.

And you might want to try using !important in your css to try and correct the css issues you are having.

No one else has reported any issues with safari or chrome so my thinking is these are being caused by the mods you have made possibly.

Hmmmm…but there wouldn’t be any mods on the wp-forge theme out of the box, right?

And the reveal is limited to the cast page, no others…Sorry, just trying to get to the bottom of this…could be something that the people I built this for added something between the time that I built it and now.

Also, the error is Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [data-‘open sans’, arial-slider]

EDIT: Figured that out. That’s a font they added.

But that doesn’t solve my out of the box issue… BLARGH.

What I mean by mods are modifications to the css or anything, so you are correct, there are no mods right out of the box.

If you found that error, and it was something they added, then it’s safe to assume that maybe they changed some other stuff as well.

One thing about foundation, if you change any of the css for mobile its always best to check and make sure those adjustments were made to the media query sections and not the regular areas, as
it can throw things off. Maybe look there?

Also look up the old reveal on foundation and check the data options, if you don’t put them in properly, that can cause issues as well.

    Hey man!

Found it. It was one of the plugins that was showing an update, but actually hadn’t updated correctly. Thanks for the patience and for the assistance. Keep up the good work!!

Awesome. I knew it wasn’t WP-Forge…Lol. Glad you got it worked out.

Remember if you need anything else, please let me know.

If you haven’t already done so, please leave a rating and review of WP-Forge and let everyone know what you think about the theme.

    Thanks again for using WP-Forge.
