Javascript error: Uncaught ReferenceError: Heartland is not defined

  • I am Using
    – latest version of WordPress
    – WooCommerce version 2.6.x
    – Woocommerce Secure Submit version 1.11.4.

    Secure Submit gateway (Credit card) is enabled in WooCommerce.

    I have this javascript error:

    uncaught ReferenceError: Heartland is not defined at VM1686 field.html:1
(anonymous) @ VM1686 field.html:1

    for:
    (new Heartland.HPS).configureFieldIframe()
    when I am on checkout page with my browser inspector on VM1686 field.html file.

    The web site is crateful.la

    Thanks for the report. I just went through your checkout, but I’m unable to reproduce your error. Are there any steps that need to be taken to evoke the error you’re seeing?

    May be this issue is related to this one:

    So for now, I revert back to to version 1.11.2 of WooCommerce Secure submit plugin.

    Hi Loic,

    The two issues should be unrelated. Were you able to produce a set of steps that evoke the JavaScript error you’re seeing? We have not been able to reproduce the error on our end.

    Hi Mark,

    Is difficult for me to say what is related or not. I have move back for the moment to version 1.11.2 and I don’t have this problem with it. Just hope that next update will solve it all. Thanks.

    There is is still a lot of people running WC 2.6.x as version 3.0+ is a mega major version, and to update from WC 2.6.x to 3.0+, is a lot of work and a long process for Web shops with big customizations. Thanks.

    Sadly, we’re still not seeing any issues on your site nor on any of our test sites. Is this still an issue on your end?
