Javascript errors in jRecorder

  • Hi there,

    I just tried this plugin but it doesn’t work for me. I get the following Javascript errors in the console:

    jRecorder.js?ver=3d14749…:144 Uncaught TypeError: getFlashMovie(…).jStartRecording is not a function

    jRecorder.js?ver=3d14749…:150 Uncaught TypeError: getFlashMovie(…).jStopRecording is not a function

    This could be why a lot of other people cannot get it working either.

    Perhaps using a more updated version from one of the forks or a different library entirely would do the trick https://github.com/sythoos/jRecorder/network

    I will be trying to update it and make it work myself in the coming days and will try and remember to post here about what I found when I do.

    Thanks for updating. However it still doesn’t work.

    You used the wrong version number in your plugin so it won’t auto update. People have to completely delete and reinstall it to get the update.

    Also I get the same javascript errors as before.

    Any tips? Does it work for you?
