Javascript folder removed when updating theme

    Hi guys,

    I just updated the theme and noticed that when I do, my javascript folder that I have created is deleted. I am not sure if any additional custom code would be deleted on theme update as I only have the javascript at the moment. My question, however, is if this is supposed to happen? Do I have to re-upload the custom code I have every time I update the theme?

    All the changes/additions made in the theme code are lost during the theme update. If you want to add some extra code, you will have to use a child theme. Here is a documentation page about how to create a child theme specifically for Neve.
