Javascript Popup

    I was wondering how I might go about creating some sort of popup or warning message that would appear when a user first visits the blog??

    You can make use

    add_action(‘pre_get_posts’,’postman’);
    ?>
    here postman is a call back Function

    some like this
    <?php

    function postman()
    {
    echo “<script>alert(‘welcome user’);</script>”;

    }
