Javascript + shortcodes not working

  • Hi, I’ve trying to use the onmouseover script : https://www.w3schools.com/TAGS/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml5_ev_onmouseover but nothing happens when I insert it in a module text section…

    Besides, several shortcodes (lightbox from shortcode ultimate or simple toolptips shortcodes just don’t work either… Nothing happens.

    (the “insert code” button from shortcodes ultimate in the BB editor doesn’t work either)…

    Thanks, I’ve trying to just enlarge image when mousing over for two days, nothing seems to work…

    Thanks for getting in touch!

    I just tried the same markup and script on my local install and it’s working fine, only had to change the URL of the image. Do you think you can share the URL of the page you’re working on so we can check? ??

    Re the shortcode buttons, most 3rd party plugins that add buttons to the editor aren’t coded to work on the frontend which is where our builder launches.

    We actually have some code in place to stop them from appearing on our Text Editor module but some still goes through.

    You’ll have to get in touch with the respective plugin authors and see if they’re willing to make it work on the frontend. ??
