  • You’ll need to use FTP or CPanel to manually delete the jetpack folder from your site files on the server here:

    wp-content
       plugins
         jetpack - DELETE THIS FOLDER

Then you should be able to reinstall from the Dashboard.

I am having the same problem. How do I get to FTP or CPanel? Thanks

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

@teacups44 If you’re not familiar with FTP or the File Manager option that your host offers in your hosting plan’s admin panel, I’d suggest asking them for help.

They might also have documentation explaining how to edit or remove files from your site using FTP or a File Manager in your admin panel.

Let me know how it goes.
