All of your stats are stored on our servers; you won’t lose anything. Did you reactivate the plugin and reconnect to WordPress.com after updating Jetpack?

    That is great news!

When I looked for Jetpack in my Plugin list it wasn’t listed, but when I tried to upload it again it said:

Installing Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com 1.8.3
    Downloading install package from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/jetpack.1.8.3.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. /data/26/2/35/101/2687264/user/2951196/htdocs/WordPress/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/

    Plugin install failed.

    Return to Plugin Installer

Where should I go from here? I can’t find Jetpack anywhere…

    Thank you!

You should log in via FTP to your web host and delete the folder /data/26/2/35/101/2687264/user/2951196/htdocs/WordPress/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/

Once you do that, try installing Jetpack again from your Dashboard.

I have this same problem. Jetpack disappeared. I will try your fix and see what happens, Tim. But I am concerned.
