• Hello,
I just installed the Jetpack plugin to have use of their mobile theme module, which works great, and the WP Super Cache plugin support for it is great as well.

However I noticed that once I enabled the plugin in WP Super Cache plugins page, it switched my caching from mod_rewrite to PHP.

I switched it back to mod_rewrite and cleared the cache to see what will happen, and it seems that it’s working fine. Desktop theme detected on desktop, mobile for mobile.

    Help me understand this, please:
    – Why did it switch to PHP cache? Can it only be cached via PHP?
    – What happens if I switch cache to mod_rewrite? Will the mobile theme not be cached?
    – With Jetpack Mobile Theme module, is it recommended to use PHP or mod_rewrite?

Apologies if these questions were answered, I searched and all I could find were posts about the mobile theme not working for them.

    Regards.
