• Hello,

I updated from Jetpack 2.9.3 to Jetpack 3.0. Now menus in my dashboard, for posts, for pages, for the calendar widget I use, don’t show properly. Also, photo gallery styles associated with Jetpack don’t work. I tried reverting to Jetpack 2.9.3 and that didn’t resolve the problem. I deactivated and removed Jetpack completely and that didn’t resolve the problem. I’m concerned that if I do more I will cause more problems and possibly lose content/files/more functionality.

I suspect the Jetpack 3.0 installation overwrote or affected some part of the WordPress package. But I am hesitant to reinstall WordPress before I can identify the specific problem.

  • Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all other plugins deactivated?

esmi, thank you for responding and for telling me what I should do to begin diagnosing the problem. The site is getting a lot of activity from our community members at this moment, and so I need to wait until late this evening before modifying anything. Fortunately our visitors are not hindered by the problem I’m experiencing on the admin dashboard.
