    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

Could you also post a screenshot of your image widget settings, so I can try to reproduce the issue?
You can use a service like https://snag.gy/ to share your screenshots here.

    Thanks!

the image widget is also broken on my site too and its the jetpack plug as once its deactivated, the images return. You can see the big red squares where there should be nice graphic images.

@chickster25 You don’t seem to use the Image Widget on your site. The product images are added to your site’s content, not to a sidebar. Your issue is most likely very different from the one reported here.

I’d suggest that you start looking at any Lazy Load plugins you may be using on your site, or Lazy Load functions that may be part of a caching plugin you use on your site. That’s most likely what’s conflicting with Jetpack’s Photon module on your site. If that doesn’t help, you can also try to deactivate plugins like YITH WooCommerce Zoom Magnifier, that you seem to be using on your site. Since it affects the way your product images are displayed, it could be the source of the conflict here.

Once you’ve found the source of the problem, could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome, and let me know what you found there so we can get this fixed?

Until we have a fix in place, you can continue to use Jetpack by going to Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard and deactivating the Photon module.

    Thank you!

I neglected to mention that I also updated to WordPress 4.4. I just downgraded WordPress and now my images are working. However, when I try to access the Widgets area in the back end, it seems to stall and won’t let me in.

@zanzara Were the images added via the Image Widget, under Appearance > Widgets in your dashboard, or did you add them to your site in a different way?

The images were added via the Image Widget, under Appearance > Widgets in my dashboard. Now, I can’t access the widgets at all.

Could you try to deactivate each one of your plugins, one at a time, until you can access the Widgets page?

Let me know if a specific plugin appears to block you from accessing that page.

    Will do. Stay tuned!

Hi Jeremy. Okay I just went through and deactivated all plugins but still couldn’t access my widgets. As soon as I deactivated Jetpack, I was able to access the widget area.

Alright! Could you now completely delete the Jetpack plugin, and reinstall it from scratch?

Let me know how it goes.

Okay. Should I upgrade back to WordPress 4.4 first?

I deleted all Jetpack files and reinstalled the plugin. Still can’t access the widget area. Currently running on WordPress 4.3.1

Do you get an error when trying to access the page, or just a blank page?

If the latter, could you check your server error logs around the time when you experienced the issue, to find out more about the error?

If you don’t know how to access your server error logs, your hosting provider should be able to help.

Let me know how it goes.

No error message and no blank page. When I try accessing the widgets area it just hangs.

    Hello Jeremy!

I also am having some image problems with the Jetpack Image widget. I just updated to WP 4.4. Before I did, my sidebar and footer images were nicely aligned. However now, just after the update my images are now off kilter and I cannot seem to arrange the properly in the widget editor no matter what I do: Left/Right/Center/None. Now there is also a border around them.. *weird*

Anyway- Is there something you could help with? I uploaded them via the WP Media library and placed them with the URL in the slots. NOTE: total newbie at this ?? Hope you can help? Thanks in advance!
