Jetpack and/or google analytics?

    I’ve been doing a lot of searching and can’t seem to find a definitive answer to whether or not I need Jetpack AND a google analytics plugin like Monster Analytics, or if I can get by with one OR the other. It looks like Jetpack has additional security features? And it sounds like having both can really slow one’s site down, is that correct? My site is pretty basic. Thank you.

    You can use both! Jetpack comes with a lot of features out of the box and you can toggle them off any of them that you don’t need if you feel they might be impacting performance.
