    Hi,

I love your plugin. Unfortunatly I have an issue. When i run a GTmetrix analysis i get the error: failed (err_name_not_resolved). If i run a pagespeed analysis I have opportunities to reduce css and JS regarding Jetpack boost. How can I solve this?

Another issue. Since last update when i do a pagespeed analysis I get the error “Preload Largest Contentful Paint image”. This didn’t happen before.

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi!

I did run your site through GTmetrix and I didn’t get the error you described. This is likely a networking issue and not related to any plugins/setup on your site.

That said, I do see what you mention regarding performance, and I’d say it’s split in 2 main concerns:

    1. Server response time is taking too long. This is consistent with the error you reported, I’d look into how DNS are setup and talk to your hosting company regarding name resolution and server response times
    2. Most of the performance issues come from Elementor plugin assets and its addons and can’t say for sure what’s a good course of action, we do not provide support for third party plugins. I’d recommend search on Elementor’s support or knowledge base to see if there’s any performance adjustments to be done

Jetpack Boost should be able to help, but we can’t be sure how Elementor is setup on your site.

I do recommend, when debugging a site’s performance, start deactivating some plugins and try again, try to pinpoint where the issue is.

@paam30 I found this page explaining what the “Preload Largest Contentful Paint image” message is. Apparently, it’s caused by having lazy loading enabled. Your page source says you have w3 total cache installed and it mentions “Lazy Loading”. Boost does lazy loading too, so make sure it’s only enabled in one plugin. That may help.

    Hello @paam30

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
