Jetpack Boost low mobile score

    Hi guys, I have downloaded Jetpack Boost but am disappointed to notice that my mobile score has failed to improve. I have regenerated the files each time before re-checking the scores, but sadly the mobile score remains very poor.

    I have listed the overall scores so you can see what I mean.

    Any ideas how I can improve my mobile score – for a non-techy person ??

    OVERALL SCORE

    With All features enabled
    Mobile 24 Desktop 95 (I ran this test a further 2 times and got 18/89 and 26/95

    CSS only
    Mobile 28 Desktop 94

    CSS and JScript
    Mobile 24 Desktop 92

    CSS and Lazy Image
    Mobile 32 Desktop 95

    Lazy Image
    Mobile 29 Desktop 94

    JScript and Lazy Image
    Mobile 35 Desktop 95

    Hi @assistantadvice,

    Thanks for using Jetpack Boost!

    Although there’s no apparent ads on the site, the PageSpeed Insights report shows some Google/Doubleclick Ads running. Could you see if disabling those ads help?

    Also, it may be worth reaching out to the GeneratePress support, they might have more insights as to why the theme loads slower on mobile. Here are tips they shared here that could you also double-check for.
