Hi, I have received upgrade notification for Jetpack Boost to Version 2.0.1 is crashing the website. It’s removing the background and changing the menu layout. Also, now if I am trying to deactivate Jetpack Boost then again layout of website is changing. Also, just for your information only Jetpack Boost update is pending now in plugin update list.

    Hi @atulkumarv,

You mentioned experiencing issues with version 2.0.1, which is causing layout changes on your website. However, it seems there might be a discrepancy, as the latest available version of Jetpack Boost is 3.1.1.

To assist you effectively, could you please confirm the version number of Jetpack Boost you attempted to update to? This information will help us in diagnosing the problem more accurately and providing you with the most appropriate solution.

    Thank you!

Hi, Sorry, it was my mistake. But, the installed version is 2.0.1 and I am trying to upgrade it to latest version 3.1.1.

    Thanks

    Hello @atulkumarv,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look? If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via our?contact form.

If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.

That said, if you’re comfortable with troubleshooting, you may first want to try clearing your site’s cache, as outdated cache files can sometimes cause display issues.

Additionally, check if there is a conflict with another plugin or theme by temporarily deactivating other plugins one by one and switching to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One. We have a detailed guide on how to go about that here: https://jetpack.com/support/troubleshooting-plugin-and-theme-conflicts/

Meanwhile, if you have a staging site, I recommend testing any plugin and/or theme upgrade there before applying it to your live site to avoid any downtime.

    Look forward to your updates.

    Hi,

Please find the below website link. Also, I have already check many things earlier and I have a doubt that somehow “Optimize Critical CSS Loading” is not working correctly in newer version.

Thank you for sharing that! It looks like you’re also on an older version of WordPress (6.2.4); the latest version is 6.4.

    I would recommend the following:

    1. Make sure you have a current backup of your site
    2. Update to WordPress 6.4
    3. Try updating Jetpack Boost again

Please let us know how that goes, or if there is some reason you don’t wish to update to WordPress 6.4.

Hi, I have taken backup and updated the WordPress to latest version. Till that time, our site was working properly without any issue. Now, I have tried to update the Jetpack Boost to latest version again, but still I am facing the layout issue. So, I have just restored the website to latest backup point.

Also, just FYI, I have also tried to regenerate the CSS again, but still we have same issue.

    Thanks

    Hi @atulkumarv,

You’ve noted some layout problems after activating the Jetpack Boost plugin. Could you try turning off all the features in the Jetpack → Boost section to see if the issue still occurs? If the layout improves, then reactivate each feature one at a time, and after each activation, review your site in an incognito browser window. This step-by-step approach should help pinpoint if a particular Boost feature is behind the layout concerns.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hi?@atulkumarv,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
