On the homepage of one of our client sites, we noticed that images were not loading properly and were receiving errors in the Developer Console. When we deactivated the Jetpack plugin, the images returned to normal. The errors had things like i0.wp.com at the front of our image URLs, which from our rudimentary research appears to be a function of the Jetpack Image CDN.

Please advise as soon as possible, as we need Jetpack active to connect WooCommerce Shipping and Tax in this client’s online shop, but we also need the images on the site to load properly.

    Hi there,

It might be possible the site accelerator feature is conflicting with any other plugins or services you have enabled.

The quickest way to figure out if something is interfering is to test for a theme or plugin conflict. I know it’s less than ideal, but could you please try the following:

Temporarily deactivate all the site’s plugins except for Jetpack and clear your browser’s cache. Then try loading images again. If it works, then we’ll know that another plugin is conflicting here. You can re-enable your plugins one by one, trying loading images in between, until you find the one causing the conflict. You can leave it disabled or reach out to the plugin developer for a fix.

If disabling plugins doesn’t help, it may be the theme. Temporarily switch your theme to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty. Then try loading images again. If it works, then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you can reach out to the theme developer for a fix.

    Hi there,

It has been more than one week since we have heard from you, so I’m marking this topic as resolved.

But if you have any further questions or need some more help, you’re welcome to reply here or open another thread.

I’m having a similar issue – I did as you requested deactivating my plugins, all but core theme plugins (avada core and avada builder) if i disable those it can break my site front/back end for good (past experience). any other thoughts?
