Jetpack causes card to fail with NONCE

    My Woocommerce Square plugin is showing version 2.0.0, although the version on the plugin’s main website is only 1.0.38 – so that’s the first thing that’s pretty strange.

    When I activate the JetPack plugin, the Square integration fails. To the end user who types in their credit card data, the screen just refreshes, the Square form clears, and there is no error message presented.

    When I deactivate JetPack, it works just fine.

    Digging through the logs, I did find that Missing Required Parameter (card_nonce) error that seems to be so popular.

    I’ve disabled all other plugins. WordPress 5.2.2 Woocommerce 3.6.5 Jetpack 7.6 Dynamix Theme. I can dup this any time by turning on and off JetPack.

    Any idea on how to get some help?

    Rolling back to the 1.0.38 version on the Woocommerce website seems to have fixed the problem. I have no idea where this 2.0.0 version came from, and the internet no longer seems to believe it exists, so… alternate reality.

    But in case any of you came from wherever I’m from, I’ll leave this up here. Delete 2.0.0, install 1.0.38.

    Square 2.0 was released and then pulled back, so that explains what you saw. There were issues with Square 2.0.

    Regarding the Jetpack issue, can you please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Tickets. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
