    Hello,
    Since yesterday, all my sites went down, I discovered it was jetpack because I tested every Plugin and when I removed jetpack, the site will come back to normal but if I put it back, it will produce this error “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.”

    I have already deactivated it again so that my site can work

  • Same here. At least two of my websites went down too. Was able to deactivate Jetpack and it works again.

    It’s a temporary solution but you can delete the “rules” directory in jetpack/jetpack_vendor/automattic/jetpack-waf/ which should fix the issue. The folder doesn’t exist in any other version and the file inside the rules directory is calling for files that don’t exist

    Sorry for the inconvenience there. We are aware of the issue and working on a point release (11.5.1) to fix it. It should be out in the next 24 hours.

    In the meantime, removing and re-installing Jetpack 11.5, as @staalegismervik has confirmed works, or deactivating and reactivating the WAF module via WP CLI, as @r33c3 hints at, will fix the issue. There’s more information about this here.

    Not sure why did I install this plugin, through the aggressive ads maybe. Having the same issue and I thought the debug mode would let me know something but nothing, and I think this is not the first time people have the same issue, I googled the same error and surprisingly we had this issue in 2020, 2021 as well. And for a normal user, going through the back panel to fix this issue is not easy for them. They only care about the front interface.

    At least, there is a technical reason to understand this issue ??
