• Hello,

    Jetpack seems a great plugin.

The them of my site is twenty fifteen.

I would like to change the standard comment form by Jetpack comments.

Anyway, when I tried, I lost the right display on my mobile (Nexus 5 – Android). Actually there is a zoom which occured when I wrote in the form.

Could it be possible to keep the Jetpack comment form wrapped in the decive screen without zoom. (like for the standard comment form of twenty fifteen theme) ?

Thank you very much for help!

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

I also use Twenty Fifteen on my personal site, and don’t experience this issue. Looking at your site, another plugin seems to cause some issues with the viewport settings on your site.

Could you try to deactivate all other plugins, one at a time, and let me know if you find a conflicting plugin?

    Thanks!

    Hi Jeremy,

I deactivate all plugins, I kept only Jetpack but still a zoom appears using Jetpack comment form.

I also deactivate Jetpack and reactivate it, but still same result.

Then I changed also theme to twenty fourteen but still a zoom …

    Really weird!

Thank you for your other advices …

The site is now behind a “coming soon” page so I can’t check how the Mobile Theme looks like now I’m afraid. Would you mind opening the site again so I can take another look?

    Thanks!

    Hi Jeremy,

Sorry! The site is now open.

    Thank you!

    Thanks!

Things actually look good on my phone now (Nexus 5). I don’t have any zooming issues.

Could you take a look on your end as well?

Very strange! On my Nexus 5, there is still a zoom!

So I cancelled the cache on my mobile, but the issue is still occurring.

I do not know how to explain how on same mobiles the display can be different.

Would you have an idea about it?

    Thanks!

Here is how it looks on my phone (I use the most recent version of Android):

If things look different on your end, I’m not sure what’s causing the problem. Are you logged in to your site on your phone, maybe? That’s the only difference I can think of, if you’ve already tried to clear your browser cache there,

    Hi Jeremy,

I have the same screen views which you sent.
Actually issue is when I start writting in comment form.

Display of comment form is ok till I start to write in.
As soon as I write in, it is zooming!

To answer to your question, I am not logged on my phone.

It is strange, All other forms, for instance the newsletter form inserted by wp insert plugin and also the ebook form managed by the magic action box plugin, are well displayed and work without zoom when writting in.

There is something wrong, I do not know what …

I can see what you mean now, I can reproduce the issue.

Could you try to switch to one of the default themes, like Twenty Thirteen, for a few minutes and let me know if you experience the same problem?

    Thanks!

Ok, I have just switched to twenty thirteen theme.
You can have a look, there is the same zoom for the comment form.

So following all our checkings, it seems that it is not linked with the other plugins nor with the theme …

Thanks for trying! It seems to be an issue with Jetpack’s comment form indeed. I took note of it here:
    https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/1552

We’ll get this fixed, and I’ll post again here once I have news.

    Ok thanks a lot Jeremy.

    Have a good day!
