• I believe that Jetpack is a highly underrated plugin but i’m concerned with the new Comments plugin update.

That a user can login using their WordPress, Twitter or FB account is a bonus so i activated the feature on most of my clients websites.

The problem is that it that on one website now, 4 comments in a row were listed as spam. Even though that included the website owner, i thought it may need one new approval before life goes back to normal. I logged out of my admin profile and posted another comment after logging in via the WordPress option. That was also listed as spam.

Any suggestions or calming welcomed as i dread having to monitor comments on all these websites if i will only wind up having to deactivate that part of the plugin.

    Thanks.

Additionally, each comment gets the addon line “[WORDPRESS HASHCASH] The poster sent us ’0 which is not a hashcash value” which makes the section very untidy. Assume that it’s not getting along with Aksimet?

I’m having the same problem and came here to try to figure out what to do about it. So, I have nothing to offer but a feeble “me too!”

I’ve deactivated Akismet and WP-Recaptcha that I had installed prior to installing Jetpack a few days ago… I’m a little concerned about disabling Akismet, but if there’s some kind of conflict between either of those two plugins, I guess there’s no alternative.

having the same problem as well. If anyone has a solution please share!

    Hi all,

Akismet shouldn’t be having any conflicts with Jetpack, and if there are spam comments getting through, or non-spam comments consistently being marked as spam, you can contact Akismet directly to let them know, here:
