This site has been connected to JetPack for a long time. Recently, when I logged in to WordPress.com a brown banner on the site reported that The site cannot be accessed and asked if I wanted to disconnect. That said, I could see the site stats on the site and wordpress.com, I could even sporadically manage the plugins like activating even adding one. But within seconds I get the same “The site cannot be connected” banner on the site title on the left. Since then:
    1. On the site, I have disabled all the plugins and the behavior did not change
    2. It was using an older StudioPress theme, I changed it with a recent one
    3. I disconnected from WordPress.com with some difficulty, kept getting Json errors, ended up deleting the plugin folder via FTP and reinstalling it from the dashboard
    4. As of now, I can still see the site stats and the site seems to be connected on the dashboard but on WordPress.com it gives the mixed message of showing stats but saying cannot reach the site

This is an archive site as I am retired. I am troubleshooting it for future benefit and learning and will appreciate your help.

    Thanks,

    Cemal

    Hi Cemal,

Well, the site_url is normally the install folder:

    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Function_Reference/site_url

So I’m not sure what you mean. But, instead of us duplicating efforts, do you mind continuing this just via email with the team, please?

hi hello even though on this thread was resolved i’m afraid if this is still concerning me.
I have same problem with Acekin which is on my site getting problem after connecting with jetpack. I just want to see my history visitor traffic because The owner of site (company) decide to handle the marketing online with new person SEO that was me.

So I decide to move the hosting server including all the database before into the reliable space big shared hosting, but the problem happened as i connected the Jetpack than after it i can’t connect to my site.

I asked with my technical hosting which he said problem was happened on my software Then i recheck again doing uninstalled all plugin and then what my basic need in plugin was re install again everything was fine until now I’m still doubt should install JP again or not because it’s scare me problem with WordPress dot com with Org will go in crash because of this JP matter.

I will go in thankfully if there is one article about discuss this matter in depth analysis.

Are they (wordpress .com) asking to do pay for subscribing (premium) or I don’t know it is still confusing me and scared me.
