    Hi,

It’s mine first post on the forum well hello everybody!
I’m using WordPress on my site mikroprzygoda.com
I really like Jetpack visual and editor plus I would like to use WordPress iOS App but I have stable problem with access to my blog.

iOS App usually cannot refresh posts and show information: “transport error – HTTP status code was not 200 (400) [-32300]” but Stats are visible and refreshable.
On the desktop version, usually I can do almost everything via the wordpress.com like creating new post and saved but when I try to edit some older draft/post then platform inform me it cannot be found. I have to back to classic wp-admin and there change the same thing. It’s a bit annoying.

Here we have replies from Jetpack Debuggers:
    https://mikroprzygoda.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack-debugger
    – Mikroprzygoda is not connected: 200

    https://jetpack.com/support/debug/
    – 1st try: Could not fetch your site data
    – 2nd try: XML-RPC is not responding correctly ( 400 )
    – but https://mikroprzygoda.com/xmlrpc.php looks fine and give classic reply: XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

I have no idea currently which way should I go.
Can I ask you to find any solution of these issues?

    Thanks in advance

Please try deleting Jetpack specifically from the Plugins section of your blog’s Dashboard: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#reinstalling-jetpack

This will clear out Jetpack’s settings, and it should work properly after a reinstall.

    Hi James,

Thanks for reply and sorry for late feedback.
Tried but still it’s not better.
iOS App still shows error code 200 (400) [32300] and opening posts via desktop version gives error: “Invalid Post Address: This post cannot be found. Check the web address or start a new post.”
Wp-admin/debugger also shows error code 200.

May you have any other ideas?
    Thanks!

The Jetpack debugger at https://jetpack.com/support/debug/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fmikroprzygoda.com%2F still shows a 400 error for me. That means something is blocking XML-RPC at some level, even though the file loads fine in a browser.

Please try the further troubleshooting steps on this page, specifically in terms of testing for theme or plugin conflicts. Also check that you aren’t using one of the plugins that are known to cause issues on this page.

    Hello KokkieH,

Just found time to check each point. Unfortunately nothing work.
    1. I switched off all plugins except Jetpack
    2. I switched theme to Twenty Eleven
    3. Reconnecting Jetpack tool
    Nothing works.

I also do not use any of mentioned issue plugins.
But I see some error in plugin section with advanced-cache.php: “Request define(‘WP_CACHE’, true); in file wp-config.php”. Unfortunately, I tried to add this line “define(‘WP_CACHE’, true);” into wp-config.php but there was no change after uploading file to FTP with this line.

Waiting for other ideas and thanks in advance for help,

What caching plugin are you using?

    thanks for fast reply.
I was wondering on that but have no idea which plugin can be “caching” one.
    List of used:
    – Ajax Search Lite
    – Autoptimize
    – BBSpoiler
    – Google XML Sitemaps
    – Instagram Feed
    – Jetpack
    – Classic editor
    – Page scroll to id
    – PayPal Donation
    – Random post widget
    – Redirect URL to post
    – Smush
    – Ultimate WP Query Search Filter
    – WP-Optimize
    – Youtube

    It looks like Autopimize.

I recommend checking with their support for the proper way to fully uninstall their cache, that way we can try connecting without the middleman basically.

    Hi,

Autoptimize deactivate, unistalled. Checked in plugins folder, there is no files already, no tables in database also (not visible in WP-Optimize). It didn’t help.
But when I move out this advanced-cache.php file, this mentioned error is not visible already. Few times deactivate, unistall and install once again Jetpack plugin. No profits.

https://mikroprzygoda.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack-debugger shows site is not connected, code 200
    https://jetpack.com/support/debug/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fmikroprzygoda.com%2F shows problem with XML-RPC code 400
https://mikroprzygoda.com/xmlrpc.php shows “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.”

Just wondering… I do not have HTTPS/SSL, can it have any impact on that?

Autoptimize does not do page (or database or object) caching and does not optimize the backend (wp-admin) or XML-RPC or REST-api, so the chance of AO being involved here is minimal at most .. ??

Ok, we’ll need to take a closer look, so please contact us via https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support

Yesterday I tried to update my Jetpack plugin on my self-hosted site from 7.4 to 7.4.1. All previous updates of Jetpack have worked fine. But this time I get the following message:

“An error occurred while updating Jetpack by WordPress.com: Could not copy file. jetpack/_inc/lib/class.media.php”

How do I resolve this error?

    Thanks.

Hi @mthupp, since this is a different issue from the one in the original post, could you start a new topic?

That way the people who have been working on this topic won’t get unwanted notifications as we troubleshoot your issue. Please include a link to your site as well so we can check on it from our end. Thanks in advance!

My apologies. I looked for a way to start a new thread, and frankly, I couldn’t find it. (My first time on the forum). I’ll look again.

    Hi

I have no idea what was changed but last week I was on holiday and Jetpack seems to work well. I see that Jetpack Debugger still shows problem with code 400 (access to XML-RPC) but it doesn’t have any impact for that.

I can refresh, open posts in iOS WordPress App without error codes, I can open posts in desktop Jetpack.

Many thanks for your ideas, maybe some of this step started work!
    Tks!
