Jetpack Connection Setting = Wrong User

I keep trying to connect Jetpack to a different user. I originally set up Jetpack with User A, then switched it to the website owner’s new account that I created especially for them, i.e. User B. Every time I go back and check out which user the account is connected to, it happens to be user A. I’ve tried to switch it several times, made sure I was logged out of my WordPress account and into user B’s, deactivated the plugin, reactivated, uninstalled the plugin, and reinstalled it. Jetpack always reverts back to user A.

I have deactivated security plugins, BackupBuddy and just about everything that would conflict with JetPack. The problem this presents is that User B can’t see email subscribers to posts without being logged into my personal WordPress User account. As a web developer, this should not be the case.
