• Hi, I had a problem with my featured images not showing in Twenty-Eleven.

The issue existed whether I used the parent theme or the child theme.

I deactivated all plugins, and while they were all off, the featured images showed properly on both the parent and the child theme.

I switched the plugins back on one by one. No problems with any plugin that I was using, including Jetpack.

Then I followed the Jetpack prompt to connect to WordPress.com and the problem returned.

I deactivated Jetpack, re-activated it, and sure enough, if I don’t connect Jetpack to WP.com, there is no issue.

Just leaving this info so the developers can look at what I guess is a bug/incompatibility

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Yes, that’s indeed a known issue. I’m afraid we haven’t been able to solve this problem yet. Until this gets fixed, the only way to solve this issue is to deactivate the Photon module under Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    That’s OK.

I’m glad to have the workaround, because not disconnecting Jetpack from WP.com has meant I haven’t seen my stats.
