    This really has me stumped.

I receive contact form notifications without fail if I use the default form (no to= specified).

I need notifications sent to several email addresses. And right now, on one website I cannot get it to send ANY contact form notifications.

    – Yes, it enters the appropriate information into feedback.
    – Yes, I get email notifications when someone comments on a post.

I have another website with an almost identical setup and am having no issues at all. I have the contact form set to send notification to three emails. No problems… ever.

Both sites are hosted on the same server… same account, etc.

    Thanks! I am totally stumped!

    P.S.
I am using Jetpack Version 2.3 on both sites.
I am using WordPress 3.5.2 on both sites.

    I tried the Contact 7 form again…

    with another gmail account address.

    Both emails arrived immediately!

Maybe I should just use this plugin. It doesn’t give me an entry into Feedback (which is sort of nice to have a record all in one place)… but it DOES deliver email… which is the main idea.

Your thoughts? Any idea what might be going on with JetPack’s contact form?

I know two things. 1) JetPack was updated today. 2) The guys who run the JetPack code and updates are top notch, and work really hard to fix any and all bugs.

My suggestion is you hold on to Contact Form 7 until JetPack is updated- probably over the next few days- and wait and see. You have a stopgap in place, so you won’t miss any leads, and it doesn’t hurt anything to see how everything gets resolved.

    Good to know.

What I still cannot understand, is that it works perfectly fine on another blog I have that is almost the exact same setup.

It makes me fearful that that one may stop working. I can’t test everything every day. Wow!

And THANKS again for all your help!

I guess I’ll close this for now.

    Ciao!

    Thanks!

You’re welcome! If you get nervous about it, setup a schedule. Like checking the oil in your car, your websites need to be maintained as well. Especially those pieces that produce leads and conversions, or are for security. Go through once a month, and just double check your forms work, and everything is up to date.

It does wonders for peace of mind! ??

    Yes, of course…

You’re right. And I can handle almost anything on that sort of a sensible schedule.

I just don’t want to be worrying over anything as frequently as… for example… as frequently as our government does something criminal.

That could turn into something akin to a full time job… with overtime! lol

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

@kaelindesign Thanks for helping while I was gone. Your tip to try another plugin to test the email functions is a good one!

We did not get any other reports of problems with the Contact form in the past few days, So I don’t know how to explain the issue. Your site also properly connected to WordPress.com, so no problems there.

Could you contact me via our contact form? I’d like to run a few tests with you, with other test email addresses.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Jeremy…

I did send a message via the support contact form.
