• I have altered the settings on the contact for to sent it to the correct person, but the contact emails are still coming to me instead.

    [contact-form to=’‘ subject='[ITWA Contact’][contact-field label='Name' type='name' required='1'/][contact-field label='Email' type='email' required='1'/][contact-field label='Comment' type='textarea' required='1'/][/contact-form]

Instead of going to they are coming to my email.

It seems it must be happening because it’s attached to my jetpack account.

    How do I fix it?

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

I can’t seem to be able to reproduce the issue on my end. The emails are sent to the email address I specified in the form builder.

Could you try to remove the custom subject from the contact form shortcode, and let me know if it helps?

I can’t remember how to get into the contact form builder – as I have the same problem – emails going to me and not client.

I think I figured it out – this article was very useful:

Jeremy – I have done that. The emails STILL come to my email instead of to the email in the form they are supposed to go.

You say you “can’t reproduce on your end” what does that mean? Have you been sending emails that do go to the correct address using our contact form and they are going to my colleague? She says she has not had any email coming to her. Testing does nothing unless you are testing on our application

There are literally DOZENS of people reporting this same bug throughout the support groups, and NONE of them have actually had a satisfactory conclusion.

I used the shortcode you pasted above and ran some tests on my own site. I don’t know your site URL, so I haven’t tested anything on your site yet.

You can rest assured, we do not close tickets here. The only way this thread would get automatically closed would be if it stayed without a reply for a year. We’ll get to the bottom of this in less than a year, I hope! ??

Since your WordPress installation appears to be ignored the custom recipient email address, could you try to use a plugin like this one to temporarily send out emails using a different email service, like Gmail?

Let me know how it goes.
