I’m afraid that’s to be expected right now. I can’t speak for AMP for WP as I’m not too familiar with the plugin, but the AMP plugin doesn’t support the form
HTML element, because that element wasn’t allowed on AMP pages when the AMP project was originally launched.
However, the AMP project now allows the form
element; the 2 plugins could consequently add support for form
, thus allowing you to display forms on your AMP Pages.
I created an issue here to let the AMP team know about this. If you’d like the AML for WP plugin to support forms as well, I would recommend that you get in touch with them to let them know.
AMP, and AMP for WP
You probably don’t need the 2 plugins, since they do the same thing; I’d recommend that you keep one, and deactivate the other. Since you’re trying to use AMP on static pages, you’ll probably want to keep the AMP for WP plugin; the AMP plugin doesn’t add AMP support to Pages, only to Posts.
I hope this helps.
